Cafe Marebella

Situated within the historic train station of Thomasville is Cafe Marebella Ristorante. Coming to Thomasville from Central Florida, Tony and Mary Ellen Lang had a vision of creating a wonderful Northern Italian restaurant.Settling on the 80+ year old train station seemed a natural location for a unique dining experience. We draw upon over 30 years of restaurant training. Mary Ellen, attended the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. Having two restaurants in New York, she gained valuable skills in creating superb Northern Italian sauces. Moving from New York to Central Florida in the late1980's, Mary Ellen went to work at one of the finest Italian restaurants,working side by side with many Italian chefs which had come from Italy to start Alfredo's Ristorante  at Epcot in Walt Disney World.

Tony had spent over 25 years in the wine and spirits industry, which is reflected in an outstanding wine selection.

Our restaurant is set up family style. We have family style house salad and crusty Italian bread. Our sauces are made daily from scratch and we feature many outstanding nightly specials, such as, lump crab stuffed mushrooms, 16 oz ribeye steaks, 10 oz filet mignon, 8-10 oz black grouper, flounder franciase,lobster ravioli alla vodka, wild mushroom ravioli in a gorgonzola cream sauce,eggplant parmigiana and many more Italian specialties.

We are open Monday through Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Tuesday and Thursday we feature our "All you can eat"pasta night.
